BMAFC vs Bucklands Beach

By David Smith

This was the most anticipated game for the league. It did not disappoint. With Beachlands starting the game very well and had the lion’s share of possession in the rst half. Beachlands had Bucklands on the back foot and nearly scored through some great passing from our mid eld and speed from both our wingers Mark Giles and Richard Harvey.

By Paul
Venue: Te Puru
Game Date: 28.05.2016

Despite a disappointing recent run of results, our boys gave a far better account of themselves in this fixture against Glen Eden who were second in the league coming into the game.

Ranui AFC 4 - Beachlands Maraetai 2

By Coach
Venue: Starling Park
Game Date: 21.05.2016

In what is becoming a worryingly common trend of late, we started too slow in this fixture, and enabled Ranui to take the upper hand in the early stages.

Beachlands Maraetai AFC 1 - Lynn Avon 3

By Coach
Venue: Te Puru
Game Date: 07.05.2016

In what was a mirror performance of the previous weekend vs West Auckland, we were unable to match Lynn Avon’s greater desire to win the game.

West Auckland 3 - Beachlands Maraetai AFC 1

Venue: Brains Park, Kelston

The 1st Team was unable to compete with West Auckland’s greater appetite for the game, and they earned the right to be 1-0 up at half time. West Auckland were able to dominate the 1st half proceedings by being first to the loose balls, and winning the 50/50 confrontations.
