Starting the day with a nice ferry ride across to Waiheke helped set a good mood going into this game. The reserves started the game well and played a very high pressed game.

The reserve game was played in some questionable weather to say the least. The rain and wind forced us to play the ball on the ground. We started the game very well once again and had some good opportunities early on.

Beachlands 0 - Lynn Avon 1

Venue: Te Puru

We started once again very well and had most of the possession during the first half. With the help of Paul Stephens and Brian up front gave us more options to feet. We did create some more movement off the ball but not enough in the final third.

West Auckland 3 - Beachlands Maraetai AFC 1

The Beachlands reserves started the game well and our pass completion was very good. We were unlucky to go 1-0 down through a run of play mistake from us. We settled down in the game and had some good opportunities to level the scores or even go ahead. We hit the cross bar twice and Shane Dalton made the keeper work hard to keep them 1-0 up at half time.
