Senior Women v Manurewa

After a week off with our scheduled game and training cancelled, the girls were eager to blow out the cobwebs with a good run against Manurewa at Te Puru on Sunday.

Having drawn 1-1-with them in the first round despite playing well, the team was keen to put together a complete performance and make another bid for the top of the division two table with a game in hand.

BMAFC Senior Women vs Tuakau

After the postponement of last week's game, Beachlands-Maraetai women's team was eager to continue the momentum from their previous win against Three Kings.

Playing Tuakau at Te Puru, the girls knew not to underestimate the team which has been established in division two for many years, and set out to impose our style on the match from the first whistle.

Senior Ladies: The Season So Far

The Senior Womens Team have now entered the Second Division, coming from 5th Div four years ago.

Our team had lost four players from last year, and aquired three newbies: Caitlin Sullivan, Kelsey Quine and Joanne Tait who have all come over from Fencibles. We welcome them and look forward to the season playing alongside them.

Mother's Day Match

The Mother's day match was always going to be a hard game for the BMAFC women's team. We were scheduled to play Brown Sugaz at their home grounds at Mangere Domain. Brown Sugaz always play a very physical game, and they're not backwards in coming forward when they disagree with a referee's call. Then when we turned up, we found out that we would be fielding a team of ...gulp, 9.
