Senior Reserves WIN!!

The mighty BMAFC Reserve side, following a string of draws, has finally earned themselves a win, albeit via the hard way!
BMAFC had to come from behind to claim a late 4-3 victory against Three Kings Elk Hider last Saturday at Keith Hay Park.
Having continued their recent habit of defensive errors which lead to goals, Beachlands handed Kings their opening two. The 2-0 score line remained until early in the second half.
Teenage dynamo Reid Sozpa kick-started the fight-back with Beachlands first goal. But it was a Kings player guilty of starting the other kind of fight-back, and was red-carded for his fisticuffs against a Beachlands defender.
The send-off fired up Kings who scored their third goal soon after. Reid responded again for Beachlands with his second and the game looked again within reach of the visiting side.
Defensive midfielder Ben Mallinson levelled the game with 10 minutes to spare, from a cracking long range effort.
And Reid's twin brother Caid sealed the deal – thanks in part to a goal keeper error and the honesty of the sideline official: the Three Kings coach – as he nailed another long range effort.
Today, Beachlands Reserves take on University Mt Wellington who site one point clear of Beachlands on the table.
