BMAFC Girls Excel In Tournament

Wednesday, 25 May 2011 14:14

The BMAFC 8th Grade Dolphins came second out of six teams of 8th grade girls at Fencibles girls only tournament at the weekend. We played against 2 three Kings teams, 2 Fencibles teams and Bucklands Beach. We only conceded 1 goal to Bucklands Beach who won in a round robin style tournament.

There were 61 girls teams in total, from 6th to 12th grade.

I am really proud of the girls who played from various BMAFC teams and at different abilities.

Alternative Training Venue Possibilities

Saturday, 14 May 2011 09:34

From Nikki Ferigo of Te Puru

We have had a few enquiries re: possible wet weather training alternatives so just to make sure everyone has the same info:

This winter there will be some limited times available for hall bookings, to hire the hall for an hour costs $40 which must be paid prior to use. The times which are currently available may change due to other bookings and will be booked on a first in, first served basis. At present, Tuesdays 5-6pm, and Wednesdays 3.30pm onwards are available, no time on Thursdays.

Another alternative is use of space on the netball courts, however, this has to be okayed by netball first and still must be booked to avoid clashes of use.

To organise either of these wet weather alternatives, please contact Te Puru on 536 5360.

Regards

Nikki
