11th Grade Stormers v Drury
Sunday, 17 July 2011 22:06
Venue: Papakura Army Camp
16th July, Deckreation Stormers vs Drury (at Papakura) 8 boys gathered at the old Army Camp to play Drury. The grass was short and no mud. It’s a while since our lads had seen the ball bounce as high and move as fast. They started moving well and within 5 minutes Liam passed to Finn for our first goal. Drury scored straight after to equalise.

11th Grade Orcas v Western Springs Avatars
Venue: Te Puru
Saturday's game was quite a close match in the last ten minutes of the first half. But, unfortunately Western Springs shooting was too hard for Kristy and Brooke to save. Good for us Magda scored a goal letting us walk away with a 3-1 loss.

11th Grade Stormers v Manukau City
Monday, 20 June 2011 17:46
Venue: Beachlands Domain
Deckreation Stormers vs. Manukau City 18th June 2011.
(Why do we always have to play in the mud??. Maybe it's our turn to play at Te Puru.) A full team turned out on half the full size pitch as the kids pitch was more suited to togs, snorkels and flippers. Manukau quickly went 0-1 up due to our defence not concentrating.

Deckreation Stormers vs Bucklands Beach. Once again the Beachlands Domain was wet and heavy. A 9 man (boy) squad turned up still harbouring some sniffs and coughs from the week before.

11th Grade Orcas v Eastern Suburbs (Duder)
It was a nice sunny day at Glover Park.It was our first game in first division,we were ready but not quite ready. We thought we had these girls but then the whistle went, they got the ball and took it down the line and crossed it into the middle and woof they scored. We all were shocked and we didn't know what had hit us.

Sorry for no match report last week. Theresa was fully focussed on preparing school reports not soccer reports. Lucky kids at Manurewa. Normal service has resumed.

11th Grade Orcas v Bay Olympic
Sunday, 22 May 2011 12:50
Venue: Beachlands Domain
The predicted end of the world at 10am this Saturday didn't happen, lucky for us as we had an 11am kick off. On a wet and soggy Beachlands domain (with big girl goals) the yet to be beaten BMAFC 11TH Grade Orcas continued their form with a 5-0 win over Bay Olympic who provided a great competitive game. Scoring was opened by some fierce attacking play, finished off nicely by Anna Ross.

11th Orcas v Otahuhu Destiny Diamonds
Wednesday, 18 May 2011 12:23
Venue: Seaside Park, Otahuhu
Beachlands Maraetai's winningest team (unofficially but prove otherwise!) was put to the test on Saturday. A combination of solid defence and the world's smallest goals kept the score at nil all at half time. Despite having both the majority of possession and position the Orca's goal was under attack on a couple of occasions in the second half but some gallant goal saving by Kristy "The Krisinator" Attenberger kept the Diamonds scoreless. The deadlock was finally broken by Brooke Knowles fresh on the field after her first half stint in goal. Danielle "Golden Boot" Grimmer put away the 2nd goal soon after, helping keep the nerves of the Orca supporters intact. With the final score at 2-0 the Orca's have maintained their unbeaten record and place at the top of the table with an outstanding 46 goals for and only 2 against. Player of the day was Anna Ross for the massive effort she made throughout the game.
